Future Health of Delaware River Requires Citizen Action

The John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, just south of Philadelphia, is a member of the Alliance for Watershed Education - an organization that teaches a diverse public to enjoy and protect the Delaware River Basin. Refuge Manager Lamar Gore develops programs and builds relationships with neighborhoods surrounding the Refuge, which include many immigrant communities. The goal is to involve everyone in addressing urgent issues of global warming, eco-restoration and environmental justice.

Speakers in video include: Kathy Klein, Carol R. Collier, Bruce Friedman, Alan Hunt, and Doug O’Malley.
