EXPRESS NEWARK Blends Arts & University at Heart of City

One of the shining examples of renewal in Newark is “Express Newark”, the mixed-use cultural “incubator” and creative space that dominates one corner of the recently renovated historic Hahne building in the heart of downtown.  Express Newark aims to promote positive transformation through arts and creative exploration. Co-director Victor Davson calls it a “collaboratory” between Rutgers University and the Newark community.
