Trenton City Museum Features Singer/Actor Paul Robeson

World-renowned singer, actor, Rutgers valedictorian, and Princeton native Paul Robeson is currently featured at the Trenton City Museum (through Spring 2017), as well as at Rutgers-University Newark during the week of Apr. 3 - 10, 2017. "Paul Robeson was an uncompromising advocate for civil rights as well as world peace," says David Bosted, museum trustee, exhibit curator, attorney and history buff.

"Everyone knows that George Washington was here but so was...Alexander Hamilton, future Secretary of the Treasury. He rolled his cannons right up the hill here from the City Museum into town.  And those cannons were decisive in the Battle of Trenton."
